Not necessarily a gift shop but last time I was there they definitely had shirts for sale
It's an elevated deck off the back of the restaurant.
They do. Enjoy the game.
Not necessary
Ask them not the public. Juss sayin'
The Old Forge is a really cool place. Very good food from a broad menu and an amazing beer list. Very friendly staff. I will definitely be back soon.
We sat outside on the back deck. It was a beautiful warm, sunny, breezy afternoon / evening. The food was excellent, including a very nice salad bar. The prices are very good. The bathroom was too dimly lit, but overall, I would definitely go here again.
Food was ok except the clam chowder is great
Decent food, nice view, good beer and great cider on tap❤
The food was very good, I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and the sauce was wonderful. I was very happy to see that the chicken was grilled and not fried! The service was a little slow and left something to be desired but the food was good!
The Beer OMG hundreds of types and about 30+/- on tap .I had Austrian roast beef open face on a delicious artisinal toasted bread with melted cheese and Dijon mayo, with a dill pickle spear, also in lieu of F fries I subbed out for fried onion chips yummy.Wife had breaded fried catfish strips hero with F Fries and spicy cole slaw .We shared a Winter salad of roasted split Brussels sprouts and gorgonzola crumbles bacon crisps roasted cauliflower in a light oil seasoning of garlicMy Beer was a 9% alcohol La Fin Du MondeFrom Quebec Montreal .Coffee and Tavern Cake / whip cream.Very cozy and great food
Food was pretty good, wish I had the appetite to try a few things on the menu. Beer list is a mile long for a place like this. Staff was friendly, and very helpful with the questions. Will 100% be going back.. oh, and where else do you get chili in a "cup" lol
I've eaten wings at restaurants up and down the East Coast, and the Old Forge wings are some of the best I've had. Particularly the Buff Orpington wings tossed in a unique and delicious curry-based sauce.I first came to the Old Forge in 2000 and was blown away by their wings. They're still delicious now, almost 20 years later. The appetizers we tried recently - potato skins and fried calamari - were also very good. The beer selection is extensive, with over a dozen beers on tap and hundreds in bottles, and features a good mix of imported and domestic craft beer. I do wish that the tap list had more than just the name of each beer. Some description of the beer - style, flavor profile, origin - would be very helpful. I was also disappointed to learn that bar would not give out a taster of any higher alcohol beers - given that the taster is a tiny 0.5 oz serving, it seems needlessly stingy.
Family and I always enjoy food and drink at The Forge.
I looked at different menus online and saw the Skillet of Mushrooms on this menu and knew I had found a winner. Let me just say I was NOT disappointed. Not only was this appetizer amazing, but the burger I got couldn't have been better if I cooked it myself. My girl got the Wild Mushroom Ravioli and it was out of this world as well. Next time we are in the area we will DEFINITELY be back!!!
Great food and great service. Came a bit before normal dinner time, and it was a smart choice. The restaurant filled up fast, after 5 pm. Nacho appetizer was huge, and we only got the 1/2 order. Chicken and beef sandwiches filled our plates. Took a lot home. Great value.
Excellent restaurant. I was here a few times when I was at college at Williams many years ago. Still excellent. Excellent beer selection and excellent service. A jewel.
Excellent as always. Was downstairs, fireplace was lit, perfect atmosphere for a cold night and enjoying dinner with good friends. Food was delicious. 5 stars!!!
Never disappointed here !! Great food with any kind of beer you can imagine.
I like the rustic atmosphere and we had good service despite being super busy. The food is good...not great and very expensive. $18.00 for an OK chicken dish. It was supposed to be Brushetta chicken but us had cream sauce and a few unripe tomatoes cut up on the plate. It was not any Brushetta I've ever seen! The served soup in a coffee cup and BBQ ribs with fries and potatoes but no vegetables. Also The place was so dark you couldn't see your food.
Great food! Great atmosphere! Awesome decor...Old Speckled Hen on tap and a 8 page beer list! Always visit when in town.
A popular local establishment that reminded me of an old ski lodge. Not all that well-lit on the inside, however, and the hallway to the restroom and restroom itself were far too dark. Arrived at 5 p.m. and the upper parking lot was full, but we were able to secure a table on the deck... great views and a nice breeze. By 5:15 the deck was full and the restaurant was beginning to fill (upstairs). Kids ordered "nachos" and they were perfect for picky eaters... loads of jack cheese and a chunky salsa on the side. "Shrimp and Smokies" (sausage bites) with an mustard dipping sauce were delicious and the chicken Waldorf salad was a complete meal... the chicken was cooked perfectly. Burgers are generous (8oz) and you have lots of options. Kids were given crayons and paper to color/doodle on and were pleased when their "child-sized" drink arrived in the same type of glass as my adult beverage. We'll definitely be back.
Good food, staff is great, very nice place to eat
I'm glad it was such a nice day when I was in town so we could sit outside. It's very dark inside and outside has a beautiful view for this suburbanite. It was such a nice treat to smell the lilac bush out front. How I miss that scent down south. I had a wonderful turkey sandwich on focaccia. The service was quick and friendly, and there's plenty of parking, which pretty much checks off all the major boxes for me.
The food was excellent and the waitresses were awesome!!!! This was our first time eating out since January!!! Great place to eat and the atmosphere was great!!!
Love this place! Best wings in the Berkshires for sure. Wonderful menu and specials, great cocktails and beer selection, top notch service. Our go-to spot whenever in town.
The wings are amazing, always are. Plenty of parking. But I shouldn’t have to get an expensive salad bar just so I can have some bread to tide me over while I wait over half an hour for a simple plate of wings. Everything is ridiculously over priced. The place wasn’t packed, don’t understand the delay. Great place to have a bunch of friends when you don’t mind a delay and splurge or need an entire binder of different beer. Otherwise , find somewhere else.
Came here for a bday dinner. There were 9 of us. Sat downstairs. Pretty nice atmosphere. Our waitress was attentive, as was the busboy. Five stars for them! Everyone was pretty satisfied with the apps we ordered. Wings, awesome, onion chips, squash quesadilla, solid appetizers. But the mains left something to be desired. Some dishes such as the pasta were cold when they arrived at our table. (Maybe they dont have heat lights?) They do get points for having all the food ready for our big table. Asking the others at the table, seems the food needed to be seasoned more. More salt, certainly. Wasnt blown away by quality of the food. Not my first dinner pick. Great apps though, and nice service.
Waited to be seated for 15 min even though many empty tables. Waiter not very friendly. Food was good
Favorite restaurant in the area! Came back for skiing vacation and first place family wanted to eat out was here. Really good food!
Used to be the best wings ever and service! Not so much this time. Won't be back anytime soon. Prices went up, quality went down.
The service, food, and location were awesome.
Walked in after driving past a few times on our vacation in the Berkshires, as we noticed the lovely patio overlooking the mountains. We stopped in the late afternoon on our way home on a whim to enjoy the view with a drink and went in for a beer, only to be told that the patio is for dining guests only and we'd have to order food to sit outside. There were maybe 2 other people in the whole place as it was five o'clock on a Wednesday. No thank you! I was under the impression that restaurants are businesses that want paying customers. Too bad, looked like a great place.
Great wings. Usually not too long a wait. Pricey.
Awesome burgers, crunchy fries, good pub food and some other delicious dishes. If they are super crowded you can get it to go and head down the road a bit and have yourself a picnic by the lake in Pittsfield. If you eat in it’s very old school tavern pub ambiance and sometimes it can be loud from The bar goers.People who do go there do like to drink and eat chicken wings another of their signature items. Lots of beer choices and things to eat and choose from. The appetizers are all very good as well.
Service was good an the food was great
Very warm and cozy atmosphere; friendly and personable staff!
No free refills, iffy seating, and fairly average food. Not by any means a bad place, and the service and atmosphere are pretty decent. But overall, not the best.
2:24pm on 7.26.20My wife and I sat outside in the far left table for 25 min without being acknowledged. No drinks offered or even a “I’m sorry we will be with you ASAP” Many waitstaff passed. Tables around us cleared. We left and that wasn’t even noticed either. We’ve been eating there as a regular date night and Sadly we won’t be back.(I understand times are different however when we ate there last week it was the polar opposite)
Excellent food with a large menu. Great variety of beers. Service was just all right. Our server could not offer suggestions and was not excited about working that night. Sad how he was chewing gum but an easy fix
Ordered take out, and while the flavor of the wings was really good, the wings were dry to the bone. Ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and got a plain piece of chicken on a bun, that's it. Waited over 45 minutes for my food, and it seems like for nothing.
Just walked in to get some lunch, was seated almost immediately and everything was fine. The menu’s however are paper, covered in many stains and germs. We decided to leave and asked them politely to do something if anything with the menus. They put them back down in a pile. Clearly disgusting.
Best of both worlds. German beer and American wings.
Great food and service while practicing Covid-19 social distancing and cleanliness.
A nice place for lunch on the deck the last day of September. Salads were generous and delicious. The beef sandwich was huge and excellent.
Love this place, but just called asking about wait time and the guy I spoke to just wasn't prepared to tell me. So the wait time, whatever it is tonight, is two people shorter. Enjoy!
Great local spot with a large variety of beers a d food. Very accommodating for a large party and on short notice. Highly recommended!
Their wings are the go to food for us. Excellent every time..gotta get them cooked extra crispy. Have always had a great experience with any entree we've ordered!
Yummy, had the burger, it was big and tasty. My wife got a pasta dish that was very tasty if not a touch dry... little man loved the kids pasta... all in all a great little spot
Good food, friendly people, great atmosphere.
Good burgers and sandwiches. Stay away from the cuisine (etoufee) that isn't local to the area and you'll have a nice and cozy meal. Really good beer selection too.
We sat inside, it was a hot day and hoping there was AC (there wasn't), we got sat in a tiny alcove that had no air flow and no fan, very uncomfortable.. The food (Mediterranean Chicken) was terrible. The staff could be friendlier.. Won't be returning..
Rustic interior, HUGE beer selection. Only got the nachos and wings, but they wings were great. Saucy and sort of crispy skins
Stopped in to eat at the Olde Forge as we have many times. Before we could even enter the tent the manager Teresa started yelling at us from across the tent and waving her arms to step back. We stepped back and she kept coming at us yelling and waving her arms. There was a sign stating to stay 6 ft from hostess but there was no hostess there. No one was within 6 ft of us until she came at us yelling at us. Did not need to be yelled at in front of other patrons. As a doctor, I understand virus limiting steps. I dont understand a rude, power trip restaurant manager. No food is worth being treated that way. By the way we all had masks on but the manager screaming at us and coming at us did not.
Was passing through and saw the lot was full, so we decided to stop and check it out. Nice place. A little small so tables seem to be hard to get. I got a Neptune Bowl. Tasty.
